My guy pulled away recently after displaying some behavior and words to the effect of not feeling like he and I had a future together. I am a single mother of 3 and he is 22 yrs my senior and, what can I say, I love older me. But its been about 4 days since he’s called or texted and I’m begining to come to grips with the fact that it’s really over. My question is … We attend the same place of worship and tonight would be a service where he will most likely be there. I don’t know if going will give him the impression that Im leaning forward and looking forward to seeing him. At this point I really don’t want to see him but I don’t want to uproot my normal spiritual routine for a man/him. I could watch the service on Zoom but I normally go in person. What are your thoughts????

      Hi Marie:

I feel going to the service is better than avoiding it because of him. Spirituality is so important and worth separating from any thoughts/feelings/sightings of him. I would close my eyes a lot and listen/feel during the service and allow a releasing of him (and the relationship) to happen. It is important that he does not matter in that space. This way, you can keep your church services sacred in your heart and in practice.

Please let me know how that resonates with you.
