FOCUS:

Love is Flexible

 

PRACTICE:

Notice in which situations you’re being inflexible, or when you’re repeating an old habit/pattern.

 

JOURNAL:

How does this habit or pattern interfere with your improving your situation?  
What internal shifts would it take for you to let go of this habit/pattern?  

 

WARNING: you may be very triggered by this exercise and end up going deep into suppressed/dormant/unresolved issues.  
That’s okay . . . this is an invitation to heal through change, so take your time, go with it (be flexible) and allow yourself to ease into HEALING ♥

You want to attract a good man and have a lasting long term relationship.

You want to stop getting involved in relationships that don’t feel like “enough.”

You feel embarrassed about your love life experiences and wonder why your love story always turns out with the same ending.

Why does this happen?

It happens because you’re approaching love and relationships from the wrong perspective.

You’re missing a really important key in how to pick a mate.

This key is your feminine energy and how it affects your behavior with a man.

Feminine energy

In order to change your behavior you need to examine your deepest beliefs about yourself and your role in a love relationship.

If you try to change your behavior without addressing your beliefs, you will always fall short of the kind of love that you want.

But when you take the time to embrace the truth of your beliefs first, then the changes in your behavior begin to show results.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEMININE BELIEFS?

Do you believe it’s feminine to make the first move?

Do you believe it’s feminine to limit yourself socially and expect the man of your dreams to just find you?

Do you believe that it’s feminine to have unrealistically high expectations of a man?

Do you believe it’s feminine to reach out to a man who doesn’t reach out to you?

These are all beliefs that minimize your feminine energy and affect your behavior with a man.

You Can Change Your Beliefs, Which Will Change Your Behavior

You can learn new behaviors that allow a man to experience your feminine energy rather than your masculine energy.

You can start today, and in a week/month/year from now see how wonderful and different things are.

You can begin the process of changing your choice of men and the type of men that you attract RIGHT NOW – TODAY.

It all starts with understanding the power of your feminine energy.

The secret to mastering your feminine energy is found in a practice called LEANING BACK.

Briefly, leaning back is about

♥ knowing your worth

♥ knowing what you want

♥ knowing what you like

♥ and knowing how a man makes you feel.

Leaning back gives you an early opportunity to observe a man’s actions rather than being caught up in his words.

Leaning back keeps your boundaries in place so that you don’t continue interacting with a man who does not appreciate your worth, who doesn’t care about what you like or want and who doesn’t make you feel good with the things he says and does.

Leaning back is a crucial part to changing any pattern you’ve had with men in the past.

KNOWING WHAT YOU WANT

If you’re always focused on a man or a relationship, it’s hard to embrace what you truly want.

Focusing on him or the relationship means that you’ve lost focus on yourself.

Change that by focusing on yourself now.

Focusing on you is about living your happiness and joy right now rather than expecting a man or a relationship to make it happen for you.

You begin focusing on yourself by writing down

♥ the things you like to do

♥ the places you like to go

♥ the experiences that make you feel good

and then go do those things, go to those places and experiences those things on a regular basis.

I’m not talking about fancy or expensive things.  Just the normal everyday things that you enjoy and that are special to you.

NOW IT’S TIME TO DELVE INTO THE ROMANTIC THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY

keep love in your heart

Just for this moment, focus on the way you want your love relationship to make you feel.

Don’t focus on any one man in particular (even if you’re married) – for just this moment, blur out the face and just image the man.

Now focus on the feelings you want to experience in your relationship on a typical Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

What exact actions would make you feel this way? (Remember, it’s not about a specific person,  just the actions)

Congratulations!  You’ve just touched on your love relationship goals!  I invite you to write down the feelings you just imaged and explore them more deeply by asking yourself “why” you want to experience these feelings in these ways.

Now take a few minutes to review what you’ve written and try to get really clear about how you want to feel in a love relationship.

Now ask yourself “what’s preventing me  from having these feelings in my current situation?”

CHANGE

It’s so important to get deeper into the reality of what’s keeping you from what your heart desires.

Awareness is a good first step to making a real change to get the results you want.

If you do nothing, then nothing ever changes.

Change begins on the inside.

Change starts with a commitment to having a different result than what you’ve regularly experienced.

Change doesn’t have to be hard.

Change can happen in baby steps.

NOW THAT YOU’RE CLEAR, EMBRACE HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL – AND NEVER LOWER THIS STANDARD

(Don’t settle for what you don’t want)
